History The VAA established the Scholarship Fund in 2004, and has been awarding scholarships since 2006. Over $106,000 will be given to students as of 2017. Special scholarships are named for our "Art Angels." The first is the Norma Wang Scholarship- in memory of her family's endowment in 2008. The second is the Bobby Goldsboro Scholarship for his continuing major support since 2010. A new Angel was established in 2015 for KC/Encore Productions and in 2016 the Jim McQueston Scholarship was added.
